After a defensive mix-up in Cavalaria Hermética F.C.'s zone, Gilberto Gonçalves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Tinoco came out of the goal and Gilberto Gonçalves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guto Tróia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ernesto Tinoco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guto Tróia was extremely unlucky when he, in the 23rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 24 minutes into the match, Passarao's Gilberto Gonçalves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ernesto Tinoco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 27 minutes into the game, Vladimir Hermes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cavalaria Hermética F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Passarao the free kick. In the 27th match minute, Cavalaria Hermética F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimir Hermes to maneuver through the defense. Ernesto Tinoco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Régis Lucas in the 30th minute. After 60 minutes of play, Passarao's Guto Tróia made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernesto Tinoco was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 75th minute Gilberto Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Tinoco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Cavalaria Hermética F.C. defense, Guto Tróia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernesto Tinoco. The Cavalaria Hermética F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernesto Tinoco should have stopped the shot. Cavalaria Hermética F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristiano Massa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Passarao players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
