Spectators: 7123 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Virgílio Rosado started the match with the kick off. After 7 played minutes Paulino got a freekick which was hit by Carlinhos Pimenta. In the 11th minute Kiko de Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrézinho Xavier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Kiko de Lara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute, Carlinhos Pimenta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Osvaldinho Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Augusto Vander, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. With his leg Osvaldinho Paraense managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when PIRANGI's Luan Vianna fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With an all-out effort, PIRANGI's Osvaldinho Paraense threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alberto Tinoco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Juarês Maia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andrézinho Xavier having to make a save. Andrézinho Xavier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juarês Maia in the 26th minute of the match. Osvaldinho Paraense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tinoco in the 29th minute of play. Osvaldinho Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tinoco, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Osvaldinho Paraense was a little too slow when Luan Vianna got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 1-0. If Virgílio Rosado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luan Vianna was the one to do the kick off. After 54th play minutes Luan Vianna shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Osvaldinho Paraense and just under the crossbar into goal. Osvaldinho Paraense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tinoco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osvaldinho Paraense came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by PIRANGI's Luan Vianna. But to his dismay, Luan Vianna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 66th match minute, Paulino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juarês Maia to maneuver through the defense. Kiko de Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Paulino's Carlinhos Pimenta got a free kick in the 71st minute. Luan Vianna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The attack was good, but when Alberto Tinoco in the 72nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Paulino's Walmyr de Brito slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Andrézinho Xavier. That made the score 4-1 after 81 minutes of play. Paulino's Osvaldinho Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tinoco in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th match minute, PIRANGI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Pedro Silva to maneuver through the defense. Paulino's Remo Paraibano got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Osvaldinho Paraense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Afonsinho Pirani went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Paulino's Osvaldinho Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luan Vianna in the 98th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. PIRANGI had won after a very even match.
