Osmar Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felippe Figueiredo in the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Felippe Figueiredo made a precise shot to the right of Osmar Lopes. Tijucucu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Luís Fábio Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Filipe Pena's late challenge caught a Manchester United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. When Eliézer Dionísio fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manchester United's protests and gave Eliézer Dionísio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Manchester United getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Olivér Pápai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Tijucucu supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Manchester United's performance. The match ended with a win for Manchester United.
