When Sílvio Paranaense fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Poá F.C.'s protests and gave Sílvio Paranaense a yellow card for diving instead. Wilton Batista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Prestes in the 9th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Silas Miranda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Poá F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tricolor Futebol Clube the free kick. In the 19th minute, Silas Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ezequiel do Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leandro Vasconcelos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Luís Eduardo Barreto took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Wilton Batista to make any attempt to save it. Ezequiel do Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Beto Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Luís Eduardo Barreto made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Tricolor Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wesley Trigo to maneuver through the defense. Wilton Batista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Paranaense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute Luís Eduardo Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilton Batista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Luís Eduardo Barreto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Poá F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 63rd minute, Ezequiel do Nascimento reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Beto Andrade. The goal made the score 2-1. Leandro Vasconcelos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Tricolor Futebol Clube's Wesley Trigo got a free kick in the 67th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Tricolor Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Vasconcelos came free, but Wilton Batista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leandro Vasconcelos might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilton Batista. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leandro Vasconcelos ran back to his position shaking his head. Tricolor Futebol Clube's Wilton Batista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Eduardo Barreto in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Vasconcelos in the 84th minute of play forced Tricolor Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Wilton Batista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th match minute, Tricolor Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antônio Eger to maneuver through the defense. Luís Eduardo Barreto struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Wilton Batista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poá F.C.. After 92 minutes of play, Poá F.C.'s José Prestes made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilton Batista was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Poá F.C. had played much better football throughout.
