The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulysses Macedo during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Real Invictus F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Cookie é Bom F.C. a penalty, 14 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Duda Pinheiro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Real Invictus F.C's Gustavo Furtado. 1-0. In the 19th match minute, Cookie é Bom F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guto Paiva to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo Furtado made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Ronaldinho Lopez sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Real Invictus F.C's Gustavo Furtado got control of the ball when Ronaldinho Lopez tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Cookie é Bom F.C. defense, Vicente Salgado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Beto Carneiro. The Cookie é Bom F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Beto Carneiro should have stopped the shot. Gustavo Furtado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldinho Lopez in the 35th minute of the match. Beto Carneiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Genílson Monteiro went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Marquinhos Sousa charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marquinhos Sousa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Genílson Monteiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Víktor da Costa fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Invictus F.C's protests and gave Víktor da Costa a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Real Invictus F.C's Víktor da Costa got a free kick in the 79th minute. The Cookie é Bom F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-3. After a rather tough play, Real Invictus F.C's Zé Falcão got a free kick in the 89th minute. Ronaldo Borges recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vicente Salgado charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vicente Salgado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 97 minutes into the match, Real Invictus F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Borges came free, but Gustavo Furtado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Real Invictus F.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cookie é Bom F.C..
