Sirigado AD's Guto Bueno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Mattin in the 5th minute of play. In the 9th minute Claudio Mattin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guto Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armin Paoletti might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guto Bueno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Armin Paoletti ran back to his position shaking his head. 15 minutes into the game, Claudio Mattin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Guto Bueno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Lords of Petrópolis's Claudio Mattin in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Lords of Petrópolis's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Ricardinho dos Santos scored to the left of an out of position Krasimir Tanov, making the score, 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Jorge Siqueira kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Sirigado AD's Celsinho de Amaral tried to score from far away in the 58th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Edu Freire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Siqueira hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardinho dos Santos in the 71st minute of play forced Lords of Petrópolis's goalkeeper Krasimir Tanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 72 played minutes Sirigado AD got a freekick which was hit by Ademir Duarte. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maurício Koehler during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Evandro Velloso charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evandro Velloso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Krasimir Tanov was left in no man's land by his defense there! 90 minutes into the match, Sirigado AD's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Mattin came free, but Guto Bueno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edu Freire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, Sirigado AD could leave the field as winners, despite Lords of Petrópolis having more of the ball for most of the match.
