The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bonival's Juarês Barreto got a free kick in the 14th minute. After having played for 24 minutes, Oswaldo Rosado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bonival's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oswaldo Rosado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th match minute, Pe de Sabão FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dráusio Corrêa to maneuver through the defense. Leandro Loureiro came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Pe de Sabão FC's Serafim da Silva. But to his dismay, Serafim da Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 36 minutes into the match, Marcos Jacinto notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Pe de Sabão FC's Tiago Monteiro. Tiago Monteiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Oswaldo Rosado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Monteiro having to interfere. Tiago Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Jacinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcos Jacinto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pe de Sabão FC's Tiago Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oswaldo Rosado in the 52nd minute of play. Narciso Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute, Erik Alcântara made a precise shot to the right of Leandro Loureiro. Bonival's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Marcos Jacinto came free with the goalkeeper in the 63rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tiago Monteiro could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oswaldo Rosado in the 64th minute of play forced Pe de Sabão FC's goalkeeper Tiago Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the game, Pe de Sabão FC's Erik Alcântara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leandro Loureiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Oswaldo Rosado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Anderson Urbano fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pe de Sabão FC's protests and gave Anderson Urbano a yellow card for diving instead. Anderson Urbano kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Leandro Loureiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erik Alcântara's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. After a rather tough play, Pe de Sabão FC's Dráusio Corrêa got a free kick in the 90th minute. Dráusio Corrêa kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pe de Sabão FC had won after a very even match.
