Conrado Lopes came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Elano Motta could save by the left post. WOGLES's Ivo Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hudson Abreu in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Gears of War MZT booed when WOGLES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgardo Dāvids didn't get a good kick on the ball. WOGLES's Cristian Queiroz got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amílton Dantas succeeded in the game's 37th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. 42 minutes into the game, Conrado Lopes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Elano Motta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 51st match minute, Gears of War MZT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Sena to maneuver through the defense. If Amílton Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Gears of War MZT's zone, Fernandão Zanette stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elano Motta came out of the goal and Fernandão Zanette tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute Conrado Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elano Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gears of War MZT's Elano Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amílton Dantas in the 60th minute of play. WOGLES's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cristian Queiroz in the 61st minute. WOGLES's Amílton Dantas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Elano Motta in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gears of War MZT's Duda Teles shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 66th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ivo Pimenta but with some difficulty. Jonas Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Walmyr Damião hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, Cristian Queiroz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Gears of War MZT's Elano Motta didn't even have to move. 75 minutes into the match, Gears of War MZT's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Lopes came free, but Elano Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elano Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Walmyr Damião kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Olívio Trigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
