Armandinho de Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdo Mazza, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Armandinho de Lara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Serginho Hermes in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Leria FC's goalkeeper Armandinho de Lara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pedro Vianna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raí de Almeida in the 24th minute of the match. Raí de Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Telmo Madureira succeeded in the game's 42nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Serginho Hermes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yara's supporters rose to their feet, but Serginho Hermes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armandinho de Lara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute, Valdo Mazza reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Armandinho de Lara. The goal made the score 1-2. The Yara players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Leria FC were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valdo Mazza made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serginho Hermes in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armandinho de Lara saved Leria FC from getting behind. Pedro Vianna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Telmo Madureira, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 57th minute, Frederico Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 58th minute by Raí de Almeida got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Valdo Mazza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Armandinho de Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
