Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomás Medeiros started the match with the kick off. Breno Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Sandro Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Operário Laranjeiras's Hudson Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Medeiros in the 19th minute of play. Fausto Rocha hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the match, Operário Laranjeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Medeiros came free, but Hudson Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Augusto Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antônio Sousa in the 26th minute of the match. If Sandro Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandro Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Carlos Augusto Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Breno Barbosa scored 1-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hudson Bastos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Grato AD defense, Sandro Cabral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Augusto Gaspar. The Grato AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Augusto Gaspar should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Grato AD booed when Operário Laranjeiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Sousa in the 43rd minute of play forced Grato AD's goalkeeper Carlos Augusto Gaspar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Grato AD's Deivid Jacinto got a free kick in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antônio Sousa to make the kick off. In the 55th match minute, Grato AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guga Sanches to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Grato AD getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Thomás Dracena hit a great ball. With a little luck, Grato AD's Carlos Augusto Gaspar got control of the ball when Edu Martins tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlos Augusto Gaspar made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Sandro Cabral sent off a good shot on target. If Sandro Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grato AD's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Antônio Sousa scored to the left of an out of position Carlos Augusto Gaspar, making the score, 1-2. When Grato AD's Breno Barbosa in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Operário Laranjeiras's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Grato AD getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Deivid Jacinto hit a great ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 86th minute of the game. One of Grato AD:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Operário Laranjeiras:s goal. Sandro Cabral scored 1-4 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Augusto Gaspar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Antônio Sousa came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Operário Laranjeiras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antônio Sousa couldn't finish the play. Deivid Severo's late challenge caught a Operário Laranjeiras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Deivid Severo helped the player get up and apologised. Deivid Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
