Ulyanov DR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eulalio Emesto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Carlos Dante successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 18 minutes into the game, Ulyanov DR's Vitório Eger nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Dante made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. MENGÃOF.C.'s Carlos Dante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Emesto in the 22nd minute of play. With a little luck, MENGÃOF.C.'s Carlos Dante got control of the ball when Vitório Eger tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luiz Gustavo Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Eulalio Emesto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wayne Benton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celsinho Pimenta in the 33rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Gustavo Mota during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ulyanov DR booed when MENGÃOF.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Gustavo Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Ulyanov DR's Vitório Eger nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Dante made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After a rather tough play, MENGÃOF.C.'s Luiz Gustavo Mota got a free kick in the 46th minute. After a defensive mix-up in MENGÃOF.C.'s zone, Eulalio Emesto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Dante came out of the goal and Eulalio Emesto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Wayne Benton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celsinho Pimenta in the 55th minute of play. Carlos Dante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Emesto in the 59th minute of play. Carlos Dante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitório Eger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eulalio Emesto in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Dante prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luiz Eduardo Arantes hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the match, Vitório Eger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Dante. MENGÃOF.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vitório Eger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Cássio Alcântara hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, MENGÃOF.C.'s Cássio Alcântara got a free kick in the 79th minute. Remo de Almeida's late challenge caught a MENGÃOF.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remo de Almeida helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ulyanov DR getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Remo de Almeida hit a great ball. If Vitório Eger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remo de Almeida in the 85th minute of play forced MENGÃOF.C.'s goalkeeper Carlos Dante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the game, Ulyanov DR's Remo de Almeida nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Dante made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 91st minute, Juninho Ferraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vitório Eger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Carlos Dante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulyanov DR walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
