When Bernardinho Tróia fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Poá FC's protests and gave Bernardinho Tróia a yellow card for diving instead. Bernardinho Tróia hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, Real Poá FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilian Costa came free, but Rony Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wilian Costa was the one to do the kick off. Fiori Baiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Cláudio Vides tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cláudio Vides showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dráuzio Pena, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Real Poá FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
