An unexpectedly hard shot by Válbson Rocha in the 10th minute of play forced Canelada FC's goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo Ferraz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Válbson Rocha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Perebas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Di Xu Jun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jochem Heesen made a kick off. José Guerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denílson de Mendonça having to interfere. Raimundo Donato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Perebas FC's zone, Jochem Heesen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denílson de Mendonça came out of the goal and Jochem Heesen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Geovanni Pena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Denílson de Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denílson de Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jochem Heesen in the 71st minute of the match. Raimundo Donato received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carlos Eduardo Ferraz came out and tried to block the shot, but Raimundo Donato slotted it home off the left post making it 2-5 in the 74th minute. After 77 played minutes Perebas FC got a freekick which was hit by Jeferson Pimenta. In the 77th minute of the match Jochem Heesen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Denílson de Mendonça showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Canelada FC's Carlos Eduardo Ferraz got control of the ball when Raimundo Donato tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Canelada FC booed when Perebas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Cosme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Di Xu Jun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denílson de Mendonça having to interfere. When Artur Cosme was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 83 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Perebas FC's Artur Cosme got a free kick in the 84th minute. When Canelada FC's Di Xu Jun in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Perebas FC's goalie prevented a goal. When Jochem Heesen came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Canelada FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jochem Heesen couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Canelada FC's Evaristo Marinho got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Canelada FC's goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo Ferraz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 98th play minutes Jochem Heesen shot 3-5, a short shot which went by Denílson de Mendonça and just under the crossbar into goal. Perebas FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
