When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Di Xu Jun took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Gilmar Neto to make any attempt to save it. In the 7th minute, Henrique Tinoco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th match minute, IbiquaraPR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caco Arósio to maneuver through the defense. Geovanni Pena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Canelada FC booed when IbiquaraPR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisão da Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute, José Guerra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilmar Neto was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Gilmar Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Di Xu Jun in the 18th minute of the match. When Luisão da Costa fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IbiquaraPR's protests and gave Luisão da Costa a yellow card for diving instead. Jochem Heesen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Gilmar Neto made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Canelada FC's Jochem Heesen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gilmar Neto. That made the score 4-0 after 30 minutes of play. Gilmar Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Di Xu Jun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jochem Heesen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gilmar Neto came out and tried to block the shot, but Jochem Heesen slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the match, IbiquaraPR's goal looked a bit too open when José Guerra came free, but Gilmar Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 42 minutes into the game, when Evaristo Marinho put in a rough tackle. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Canelada FC! Af the end of the first half the score was 5-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Remo Mazza made a kick off. Gilmar Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Guerra in the 51st minute of the match. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Jochem Heesen sped through IbiquaraPR's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gilmar Neto. When Luisão da Costa was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 58 minutes had been played. After 59 played minutes IbiquaraPR got a freekick which was hit by Luisão da Costa. After having played for 61 minutes, Cristian Arantes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canelada FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Arantes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gilmar Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jochem Heesen, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. José Guerra hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Gilmar Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jochem Heesen in the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Guerra in the 68th minute of play forced IbiquaraPR's goalkeeper Gilmar Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilmar Neto was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. José Guerra might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilmar Neto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Guerra ran back to his position shaking his head. Luiz Guilherme de Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Canelada FC booed when IbiquaraPR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remo Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 89 minutes of play, Canelada FC's Di Xu Jun made it 9-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilmar Neto was left in no man's land by his defense there! José Guerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Gilmar Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilmar Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Guerra in the 95th minute of the match. Canelada FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
