The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 0-2 became the score in the 8th minute when Toninho Mendes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldo Nazario in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Greger Wiklund saved Os Verdinhos Smoke Club from getting behind. 17 minutes into the match, Ronaldo Nazario notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Os Verdinhos Smoke Club's Greger Wiklund. Greger Wiklund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Amílton Sergipano struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Alessandro Vargas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Os Verdinhos Smoke Club. Ronaldo Nazario took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Greger Wiklund. Greger Wiklund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After 29 played minutes Os Verdinhos Smoke Club got a freekick which was hit by Roland Rolado. Alessandro Vargas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amílton Sergipano in the 33rd minute. 温笑青 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro Vargas having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Toninho Mendes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Greger Wiklund. Os Verdinhos Smoke Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toninho Mendes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ronaldo Nazario to make the kick off. If Felippe Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eliézer Nóbrega kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Amílton Sergipano's late challenge caught a Geléia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Alessandro Vargas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Charles Vargas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felippe Velasco kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After 81 played minutes Os Verdinhos Smoke Club got a freekick which was hit by Eliézer Nóbrega. 86 minutes into the match, Os Verdinhos Smoke Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Nazario came free, but Greger Wiklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toninho Mendes succeeded in the game's 88th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-7. Ronaldo Nazarios short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Greger Wiklund to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Felippe Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Nazario in the 94th minute of play forced Os Verdinhos Smoke Club's goalkeeper Greger Wiklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute Ronaldo Nazario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Greger Wiklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
