Maurício Pereira did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Oliver Bierhoff 6 minutes into the match. After 13 minutes, Maurício Pereira made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. RiverFolia's Oliver Bierhoff tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 15th minute, Maurício Pereira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maurício Pereira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Oliver Bierhoff skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Marcelinho Massa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luizão Bueno having to interfere. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind RiverFolia's goalkeeper Oliver Bierhoff, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luizão Bueno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelinho Massa, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After 45 played minutes RiverFolia got a freekick which was hit by Marcelinho Massa. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maurício Pereira was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maurício Pereira in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oliver Bierhoff saved RiverFolia from getting behind. Oliver Bierhoff didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maurício Pereira went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caio de Mendonça in the 61st minute of play forced Bola07 FC's goalkeeper Luizão Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the game, Marcelinho Massa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luizão Bueno. Marcelinho Massa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-2. Oliver Bierhoff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raúl Blanco in the 75th minute of the match. Luís Gustavo Cardoso hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute of the match Cleiton Baptista sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oliver Bierhoff skillfully saved the ball. Eugênio Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Luizão Bueno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oliver Bierhoff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurício Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Maurício Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the match, Luiz Fabiano Tinoco notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of RiverFolia's Oliver Bierhoff. Oliver Bierhoff was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Maurício Pereira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oliver Bierhoff was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Eugênio Romero struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Luizão Bueno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RiverFolia. With a little luck, Bola07 FC's Luizão Bueno got control of the ball when Eugênio Romero tried to sneak it across the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, RiverFolia's goal looked a bit too open when Maurício Pereira came free, but Oliver Bierhoff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 97th minute Bola07 FC were awarded a corner. Cleiton Baptista went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Cleiton Baptista got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Oliver Bierhoff quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Bola07 FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
