Spectators: 7469 (Terracing: 5603, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vladimir Barros started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Giuseppe de Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vladimir Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Cesinha Dante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 12 played minutes Rastro Sertanejo F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Vladimir Barros. Luisão Travassos made in the 16th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Pedro Paulo da Costa however managed to control. Cesinha Dante came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Rastro Sertanejo F.C.'s Luisão Travassos. But to his dismay, Luisão Travassos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 24th minute, Rastro Sertanejo F.C.'s Frederico de Amaral dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 32 minutes into the match, Emerson Koehler had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Genílson Barral. Rastro Sertanejo F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emerson Koehler was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Emerson Koehler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidoro's Carlos Ortiz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Kléber Xavier in the 38 minute of the game. After some careless play in the Isidoro defense, Vladimir Barros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cesinha Dante. The Isidoro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cesinha Dante should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emerson Koehler made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Rastro Sertanejo F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Luisão Travassos. After 56 minutes, Luiz Gustavo de Carvalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Isidoro and the Rastro Sertanejo F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some careless play in the Isidoro defense, Vladimir Barros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cesinha Dante. The Isidoro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cesinha Dante should have stopped the shot. When Teodoro Dantas fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Isidoro's protests and gave Teodoro Dantas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th minute Vladimir Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesinha Dante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cesinha Dante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimir Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Albertinho de Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 played minutes Isidoro got a freekick which was hit by Geovânio Jacinto. Isidoro's Cesinha Dante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertinho de Amaral in the 88th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rastro Sertanejo F.C. had played much better football throughout.
