The crowd rose to their feet as Nicolas Cabral kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Valdir Guerra. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. Valdir Guerra made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Nicolas Cabral sent off a good shot on target. If Nicolas Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolas Cabral came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Valdir Guerra could save by the left post. 20 minutes into the game, one of Omori F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 25th match minute, Omori F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerônimo Madureira to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute of the match, Magno Paulista tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Valdir Guerra saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 29th match minute, Omori F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luizinho Andrade to maneuver through the defense. Valdir Guerra made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Nicolas Cabral sent off a good shot on target. If Ramiro Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Omori F.C.'s goalkeeper Valdir Guerra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolas Cabral. 41 minutes into the game, Tiago Gabriel Lara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Percy de Andrade was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 45 minutes into the match, Nicolas Cabral notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Omori F.C.'s Valdir Guerra. Valdir Guerra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Cabral in the 60th minute of play forced Omori F.C.'s goalkeeper Valdir Guerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jerônimo Madureira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percy de Andrade having to interfere. A collision led to Omori F.C. getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Carlinhos Borges hit a great ball. Patrick Melo, 68 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Suva's Magno Paulista got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th minute, Nicolas Cabral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valdir Guerra was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. In the 84th minute Flavinho Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdir Guerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Omori F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Magno Paulista came free, but Valdir Guerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Suva fans cheered their team off the field, for while Omori F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
