Suva's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jerônimo Madureira 38 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Valdir Guerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexsandro Vale in the 42nd minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Omori F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Suva:s goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The crowd rose to their feet as Flavinho Duarte kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Valdir Guerra. That made the score 1-2 in the 54 minute of play. After 58th play minutes Alan Baiano shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Percy de Andrade and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramiro Jacinto got free with Valdir Guerra in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valdir Guerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magno Paulista in the 66th minute of play. Flavinho Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Valdir Guerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Percy de Andrade came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Omori F.C.'s Horácio Brodel. But to his dismay, Horácio Brodel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Nicolas Cabral took a quick shot and it went in 3-3 without a chance for Valdir Guerra to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Baiano in the 79th minute of play forced Suva's goalkeeper Percy de Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Percy de Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Fernando Ferreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. If Magno Paulista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolas Cabral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Valdir Guerra made a huge save. Juarês Chaves kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Alan Baiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 93rdth minute of the game Benê Nascimento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Omori F.C.'s Valdir Guerra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 4-3 became the score in the 95th minute when Alan Baiano elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Omori F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Suva had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
