Osmar Alagoano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 9 minutes into the match, Geraldo Fonseca notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Blumenauense's Osmar Alagoano. Osmar Alagoano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Paulo José Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But to his dismay, Geraldo Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geraldo Fonseca in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osmar Alagoano saved Blumenauense from getting behind. Geraldo Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osmar Alagoano having to interfere. Dráuzio Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nico Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Geraldo Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Geraldo Fonseca succeeded in the game's 40th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-5. Marcel Leal hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henrique de Medeiros to make the kick off. When Nico Valle fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Divini Race F.C's protests and gave Nico Valle a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Blumenauense booed when Divini Race F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nico Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute, Dráuzio Lima fired a really elegant long shot, but Osmar Alagoano threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Osmar Alagoano made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Geraldo Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. Dráuzio Lima struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Osmar Alagoano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Divini Race F.C. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nico Valle in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Osmar Alagoano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ian Faria charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ian Faria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ian Faria hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Geraldo Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osmar Alagoano having to interfere. Geraldo Fonseca's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Osmar Alagoano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice moves Geraldo Fonseca could shoot a difficult shot in the 70th minute, which Osmar Alagoano however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geraldo Fonseca got free with Osmar Alagoano in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Silvério Mello's late challenge caught a Blumenauense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvério Mello helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, Divini Race F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvério Mello to maneuver through the defense. Geraldo Fonseca came free with the goalkeeper in the 83rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Osmar Alagoano could save by the left post. Wiliam Aguiar charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wiliam Aguiar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86th minute, Wiliam Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Blumenauense's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Paulo José Rodrigues fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Geraldo Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Nico Valle came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Divini Race F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nico Valle couldn't finish the play. Geraldo Fonseca who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Osmar Alagoano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Osmar Alagoano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráuzio Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Divini Race F.C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Blumenauense.
