After 13 minutes Cajoby's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sandrinho Loyola who took care of the corner kick. Michel Shevchenko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão Favoretto having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Júlio Albuquerque during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Júlio Albuquerque hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, Michel Shevchenko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristóvão Favoretto. Cajoby's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michel Shevchenko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Cristóvão Favoretto didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Teresópolis F.C's Michel Shevchenko shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. 26 minutes into the game, Michel Shevchenko recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cristóvão Favoretto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Shevchenko in the 44th minute of play forced Cajoby's goalkeeper Cristóvão Favoretto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Cajoby's Ramón Ribeiro got a free kick in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

But to his dismay, Michel Shevchenko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 15-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michel Shevchenko in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristóvão Favoretto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 93 minutes into the match, Michel Shevchenko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristóvão Favoretto. Cajoby's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michel Shevchenko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 16-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Teresópolis F.C fully deserved thier win.
