With his leg Osmar Alagoano managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Divini Race F.C's Geraldo Fonseca fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Divini Race F.C booed when Blumenauense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wiliam Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 13 in the game by Geraldo Fonseca from a close distance when the talented Osmar Alagoano managed to make a qualified save. Blumenauense's players were relieved. Waclaw Gejda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique de Medeiros in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th play minute Geraldo Fonseca came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Osmar Alagoano. 1-0. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Geraldo Fonseca sped through Blumenauense's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Osmar Alagoano. Divini Race F.C's Geraldo Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nico Valle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Osmar Alagoano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Geraldo Fonseca put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Osmar Alagoano. In the 48th minute, Richard Cabral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Henrique de Medeiros made the kick off in the second half. Nico Valle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Osmar Alagoano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Richard Cabral was shown his second yellow card after 57 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Silvério Mello hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Blumenauense's goal looked a bit too open when Geraldo Fonseca came free, but Osmar Alagoano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nico Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66thth minute of the game Geraldo Fonseca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blumenauense's Osmar Alagoano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Waclaw Gejda made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Edson Mangueira sent off a good shot on target. After 74 played minutes Blumenauense got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Leal. Paulo José Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 80 played minutes Blumenauense got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Brito. 82 minutes into the match, Geraldo Fonseca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Osmar Alagoano. Blumenauense's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geraldo Fonseca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The Divini Race F.C fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Divini Race F.C's Geraldo Fonseca looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Osmar Alagoano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geraldo Fonseca in the 90th minute of play. Geraldo Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Osmar Alagoano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Blumenauense defense, Dráuzio Lima kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osmar Alagoano. The Blumenauense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osmar Alagoano should have stopped the shot. Divini Race F.C walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
