Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Henrique de Medeiros made the kick off which started today's match. After 5 minutes, Denílson Pirani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cajoby and the Blumenauense players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Blumenauense booed when Cajoby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Albuquerque didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osmar Alagoano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Willian Galvão went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Henrique de Medeiros might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristóvão Favoretto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henrique de Medeiros ran back to his position shaking his head. Henrique de Medeiros took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristóvão Favoretto. Cristóvão Favoretto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When Willian Galvão came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Cajoby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Willian Galvão couldn't finish the play. If Edson Mangueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristóvão Favoretto came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Blumenauense's Henrique de Medeiros. But to his dismay, Henrique de Medeiros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Osmar Alagoano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavinho Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Willian Galvão might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Osmar Alagoano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Willian Galvão ran back to his position shaking his head. Flavinho Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 45 minutes into the game, when Augusto Brito put in a rough tackle. In the 44th minute, one of Blumenauense:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Blumenauense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Flavinho Amorim to make the kick off. Cristóvão Favoretto made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Edson Mangueira sent off a good shot on target. In the 56th match minute, Cajoby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Válbson Lopes to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the game, Richard Cabral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blumenauense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cajoby the free kick. A collision led to Blumenauense getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Osmar Alagoano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavinho Amorim in the 64th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Cajoby's Willian Galvão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Osmar Alagoano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Blumenauense's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Percival Terra was slow to take the kick. During this time Cajoby's players had a chance to rest. Willian Galvão was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Osmar Alagoano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavinho Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cajoby's zone, Edson Mangueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristóvão Favoretto came out of the goal and Edson Mangueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute, Válbson Lopes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Willian Galvão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Osmar Alagoano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Válbson Lopes fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cajoby's protests and gave Válbson Lopes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd minute, Válbson Lopes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the game, Giovanni Moraes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cajoby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blumenauense the free kick. A collision led to Cajoby getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Giovanni Moraes hit a great ball. Cajoby were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Blumenauense for a fine match.
