An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Fantini in the 24th minute of play forced SC Internacional's goalkeeper Sylwester Nakoneczny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sylwester Nakoneczny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo José Hermes, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Sylwester Nakoneczny didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnaldo Fantini went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Paneleros FC booed when SC Internacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Hoffmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. SC Internacional's Sylwester Nakoneczny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Fantini in the 40th minute of play. Sylwester Nakoneczny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Fantini in the 43rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnaldo Fantini in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sylwester Nakoneczny prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of SC Internacional booed when Paneleros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute of the match André Luís Munhoz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Natanael Silva skillfully saved the ball. The SC Internacional players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Paneleros FC were winning 0-2.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Fantini in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sylwester Nakoneczny saved SC Internacional from getting behind. In the 52nd minute, Claudinho Pombal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Arnaldo Fantini came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Paneleros FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnaldo Fantini couldn't finish the play. In the 59th minute, Arnaldo Fantini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paneleros FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 63rd match minute, SC Internacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnaldo Fantini in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sylwester Nakoneczny prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arnaldo Fantini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Sylwester Nakoneczny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paneleros FC's Edvaldo Carvalho got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sylwester Nakoneczny stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnaldo Fantini's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Edvaldo Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paneleros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edvaldo Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sylwester Nakoneczny breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 77 minutes into the match, SC Internacional's goalkeeper Sylwester Nakoneczny had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edvaldo Carvalho. Sylwester Nakoneczny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Fantini in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, Hudson das Neves recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sylwester Nakoneczny. Hudson das Neves showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Arnaldo Fantini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Paneleros FC's Inácio Sampaio got a free kick in the 86th minute. Çelik Ozan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natanael Silva having to interfere. The SC Internacional fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Paneleros FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
