Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5626, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dito Cordeiro got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Bota Casaco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinho Couto to maneuver through the defense. Zé Abraão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinho Couto in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Jarbas Eger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the game, Hílton Amaral cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Zé Abraão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Detonautas FC Return's Zé Abraão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hílton Amaral in the 12th minute of play. Jarbas Eger hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute Hílton Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Detonautas FC Return getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Jarbas Eger hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Hílton Amaral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé Abraão was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Bota Casaco's Waldemar Mineiro pulled a muscle in his leg after 31 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 31 minutes, Ivo Britto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Detonautas FC Return and the Bota Casaco players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Detonautas FC Return was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivo Britto to maneuver through the defense. Gualter Barbosa struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Zé Abraão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bota Casaco. After a defensive mix-up in Detonautas FC Return's zone, Claudinho Couto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Abraão came out of the goal and Claudinho Couto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Hílton Amaral came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Bota Casaco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hílton Amaral couldn't finish the play. Zé Abraão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hílton Amaral's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. The Detonautas FC Return players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bota Casaco were winning 0-1.

When Bota Casaco's Hílton Amaral in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Detonautas FC Return's goalie prevented a goal. Hílton Amaral in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zé Abraão, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. José Carlos Tasso's late challenge caught a Bota Casaco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Carlos Tasso helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bota Casaco booed when Detonautas FC Return was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Carlos Tasso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hílton Amaral in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zé Abraão, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 67th minute Hílton Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Hílton Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bota Casaco's supporters rose to their feet, but Hílton Amaral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Abraão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th minute Hílton Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Claudinho Couto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zé Abraão. Claudinho Couto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Zé Abraão was a little too slow when Gualter Barbosa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hílton Amaral got free with Zé Abraão in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zé Abraão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinho Couto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
