Spectators: 7550 (Terracing: 5664, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alan de Souza started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Realsemlona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laércio Ramalho to maneuver through the defense. If Alan de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 6th minute, Marcelinho Moraes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dorian Catarinense was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Dorian Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelinho Moraes in the 10th minute of play. Dorian Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reginaldo Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Eusébio Tróia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th minute, Angelo Munhoz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 17 minutes into the game, Laerte Marquez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Realsemlona's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Microsoft Team the free kick. After 17 played minutes Realsemlona got a freekick which was hit by Laerte Marquez. Alan de Souza received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luís Fabiano Martins came out and tried to block the shot, but Alan de Souza slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 20th minute. After 22 played minutes Microsoft Team got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Bertassi. In the 23rd minute of the match Angelo Munhoz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dorian Catarinense skillfully saved the ball. Raimundo Moreno's late challenge caught a Microsoft Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raimundo Moreno helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Realsemlona getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Raimundo Moreno hit a great ball. A hard and well directed shot from Luiz Fernando Ferraz led 27 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Realsemlona's Luís Fabiano Martins became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 2-1. In the 34th minute, Narciso Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Microsoft Team's Dorian Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reginaldo Hoffmann in the 36th minute of play. Dorian Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelinho Moraes in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Silas Pena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alan de Souza who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Luís Fabiano Martins when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 42nd match minute, Microsoft Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur de Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The supporters of Realsemlona booed when Microsoft Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan de Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dorian Catarinense was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Angelo Munhoz. Dorian Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelinho Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Reginaldo Hoffmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Realsemlona's supporters rose to their feet, but Reginaldo Hoffmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorian Catarinense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Reginaldo Hoffmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Microsoft Team defense, Marcelinho Moraes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dorian Catarinense. The Microsoft Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dorian Catarinense should have stopped the shot. 65 minutes into the match, Microsoft Team's goalkeeper Dorian Catarinense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reginaldo Hoffmann. Luiz Fernando Ferraz charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luiz Fernando Ferraz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luiz Fernando Ferraz kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Marcelinho Moraes was extremely unlucky when he, in the 71st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 73 minutes into the game, Marcelinho Moraes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Dorian Catarinense was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 77 minutes, Reginaldo Hoffmann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Realsemlona and the Microsoft Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. Reginaldo Hoffmann kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Realsemlona's Zeca Tepedino got a free kick in the 80th minute. 82 minutes into the game, Dedê Cosme was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Microsoft Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Realsemlona the free kick. Marcelinho Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. During the 84th minute of the match Dedê Cosme completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dedê Cosme a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Dedê Cosme hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Microsoft Team's Dorian Catarinense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Microsoft Team from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Realsemlona eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
