André Ceresso hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Ezequiel Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonas Brito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clemente Galvão went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Teodoro Saraiva got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 2-1 in the right cross in the 15th match minute before Jonas Brito had time to react. After 18 minutes, Duarte de Brito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Morere and the Lokomotiva F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Morere! When the match had been going on for 20 minutes, Lokomotiva F.C.'s Romário Salgado got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jonas Brito. Thanks to some nice moves Teodoro Saraiva could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Jonas Brito however easily saved by the left post. Jonas Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Galvão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clemente Galvão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Brito having to interfere. Jonas Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romário Salgado in the 31st minute of play. Jonas Brito was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Teodoro Saraiva capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Teodoro Saraiva really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. When Romário Salgado in the 45th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Jonas Brito kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 5-1 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Lokomotiva F.C.'s Filipe Leite was substituted for Jeremias Pirani. Teodoro Saraiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 54 played minutes Morere got a freekick which was hit by André Ceresso. Jonas Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Saraiva in the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Saraiva in the 60th minute of play forced Morere's goalkeeper Jonas Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonas Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Galvão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Lokomotiva F.C.'s Natã Abraão got control of the ball when Dadá Carioca tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rafael Paraense scored 5-2 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Natã Abraão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 73 minutes into the match, Erivaldo Luz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Natã Abraão, 5-3. André Ceresso hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. A collision led to Lokomotiva F.C. getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Nilson Mandrak hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute Teodoro Saraiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lokomotiva F.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
