Murillo Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan Lago in the 6th minute of the match. Dráuzio Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Paiva in the 15th minute of play. MotoSerra FC's Murillo Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Lago in the 22nd minute of play. MotoSerra FC's Jonas Paiva got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute Alan Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murillo Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Albuquerque struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Dráuzio Negri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MotoSerra FC. Luís Albuquerque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Dráuzio Negri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Lago in the 44th minute of play forced MotoSerra FC's goalkeeper Murillo Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th match minute, MotoSerra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arlindo Recife to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alan Lago to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Dida Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MotoSerra FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dida Nogueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dráuzio Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Paiva in the 57th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Narciso de Andrade during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Narciso de Andrade hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute of the match Franklin Cruz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Murillo Simões skillfully saved the ball. Alan Lago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, João Francisco Viana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the match, Eagle Lyon's Alan Lago sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Murillo Simões narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Jonas Paiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luís Albuquerque's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dráuzio Negri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. João Pedro Pitta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Murillo Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jonas Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
