Enéas Quadros succeeded in the game's 20th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Marco Holzheuer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enéas Quadros in the 27th minute of play. With a little luck, Pimenteiras FC's Marco Holzheuer got control of the ball when Raúl Motta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pimenteiras FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Enéas Quadros scored to the left of an out of position Marco Holzheuer, making the score, 3-0. In the 38th minute, Enéas Quadros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Curintia Fc's Paulo Renato Sarmento got a free kick in the 40th minute. Raúl Mottas short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Marco Holzheuer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Marco Holzheuer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enéas Quadros in the 43rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Raúl Motta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curintia Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Raúl Motta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Holzheuer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto do Vale got free with Marco Holzheuer in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raúl Motta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marco Holzheuer came out and tried to block the shot, but Raúl Motta slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Júlio Alvarenga was the one to do the kick off. Marco Holzheuer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raúl Motta's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the game, Raúl Motta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Marco Holzheuer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Curintia Fc fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Curintia Fc's Raúl Motta looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 86th minute, one of Pimenteiras FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pimenteiras FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Raúl Motta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curintia Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Raúl Motta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Holzheuer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Enéas Quadros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Marco Holzheuer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Raúl Motta put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Marco Holzheuer. If Augusto do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Curintia Fc's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
