Luís Albuquerque's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Erik da Fonseca skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 16th play minute Jonas Paiva came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Erik da Fonseca. 1-0. Sheldon Cooper PHD's Erik da Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Paiva in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Arlindo Recife dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Erik da Fonseca, 2-0. In the 26th minute, Sheldon Cooper PHD's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Luís Albuquerque fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 27 played minutes Sheldon Cooper PHD got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Medeiros. With a little luck, Sheldon Cooper PHD's Erik da Fonseca got control of the ball when Luís Albuquerque tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Sheldon Cooper PHD getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Fabrício Garcia hit a great ball. Jonas Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik da Fonseca having to interfere. Luís Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Albuquerque came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Erik da Fonseca could save by the left post. Luís Albuquerque spun around in front of the goal 38 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Sheldon Cooper PHD's goal. The supporters of Sheldon Cooper PHD booed when MotoSerra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Paiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Albuquerque could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Erik da Fonseca made a huge save. Erik da Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Paiva in the 57th minute of the match. Erik da Fonseca came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by MotoSerra FC's Luís Albuquerque. But to his dismay, Luís Albuquerque quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After some careless play in the Sheldon Cooper PHD defense, Jonas Paiva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erik da Fonseca. The Sheldon Cooper PHD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erik da Fonseca should have stopped the shot. MotoSerra FC's Jonas Paiva got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arlindo Recife sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74 played minutes Sheldon Cooper PHD got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Medeiros. Erik da Fonseca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Albuquerque went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Paiva in the 82nd minute of play forced Sheldon Cooper PHD's goalkeeper Erik da Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute Jonas Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik da Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sheldon Cooper PHD's Augusto França quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dida Nogueira, made in the 90th minute of the game. If Dida Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 96 minutes, Guto do Vale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MotoSerra FC and the Sheldon Cooper PHD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 97 played minutes MotoSerra FC got a freekick which was hit by Guto do Vale.
