In the 10th match minute, Curintia Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enéas Quadros to maneuver through the defense. 0-2 became the score in the 13th minute when Jonas Paiva elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Waldemar Meirelles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Paiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Waldemar Meirelles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Albuquerque in the 20th minute of the match. MotoSerra FC's Murillo Simões proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save MotoSerra FC from getting a goal against them. Murillo Simões made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raúl Motta in the 33rd minute. Murillo Simões came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Curintia Fc's Raúl Motta. But to his dismay, Raúl Motta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. 39 minutes into the match, Curintia Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Paiva came free, but Waldemar Meirelles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute Guto do Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Meirelles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waldemar Meirelles came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by MotoSerra FC's Jonas Paiva. But to his dismay, Jonas Paiva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Waldemar Meirelles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Rosa in the 47th minute of the match. After 47 minutes, Enéas Quadros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curintia Fc and the MotoSerra FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Curintia Fc getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Enéas Quadros hit a great ball. 48 minutes into the match, Jonas Paiva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Waldemar Meirelles. Curintia Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonas Paiva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonas Paiva was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the MotoSerra FC defense, Raúl Motta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Murillo Simões. The MotoSerra FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Murillo Simões should have stopped the shot. MotoSerra FC's Luís Albuquerque came free and shot a quick shot against goal 60 minutes in the game, fortunately Waldemar Meirelles had problems saving as it came toward the left post. 64 minutes into the game, Jonas Paiva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MotoSerra FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Curintia Fc the free kick. After 64 played minutes MotoSerra FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Paiva. Raúl Motta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Murillo Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Curintia Fc's Raúl Motta in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MotoSerra FC's goalie prevented a goal. Curintia Fc's Waldemar Meirelles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arlindo Recife in the 69th minute of play. Curintia Fc's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Jonas Paiva scored to the left of an out of position Waldemar Meirelles, making the score, 3-6. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raúl Motta in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Murillo Simões prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Enéas Quadros struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Murillo Simões didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curintia Fc. After 80 played minutes MotoSerra FC got a freekick which was hit by Arlindo Recife. Waldemar Meirelles was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jonas Paiva showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-7 in the 83 minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Guto do Vale dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Waldemar Meirelles, 3-8. 96 minutes into the match, Curintia Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Paiva came free, but Waldemar Meirelles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
