Clemente Galvão struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Erik da Fonseca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lokomotiva F.C.. 12 minutes into the game, Lokomotiva F.C.'s Teodoro Saraiva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erik da Fonseca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Saraiva in the 20th minute of play forced Sheldon Cooper PHD's goalkeeper Erik da Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Clemente Galvão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lokomotiva F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sheldon Cooper PHD the free kick. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albertinho Rosa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Lokomotiva F.C. getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Orlando Siqueira hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodoro Saraiva got free with Erik da Fonseca in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sheldon Cooper PHD's Fabrício Garcia managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jeremias Capixaba in the 90 minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Romário Salgado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erik da Fonseca was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Erik da Fonseca came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by Lokomotiva F.C.'s Ezequiel Branco. But to his dismay, Ezequiel Branco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. When the final whistle sounded Lokomotiva F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sheldon Cooper PHD.
