Marco Holzheuer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erivaldo Luz in the 21st minute of play. Marco Holzheuer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erivaldo Luz in the 26th minute of the match. Erivaldo Luz might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Holzheuer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erivaldo Luz ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 32nd minute of the match Morere got a corner. Pimenteiras FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mateus Lucas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mateo Ascencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Jonas Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Pimenteiras FC's zone, Erivaldo Luz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Holzheuer came out of the goal and Erivaldo Luz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th minute, André Ceresso made a precise shot to the right of Marco Holzheuer. Pimenteiras FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 42nd minute, Erivaldo Luz made a precise shot to the right of Marco Holzheuer. Pimenteiras FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 60th minute, Mateo Ascencio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erivaldo Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Morere's Erivaldo Luz got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pimenteiras FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Erivaldo Luz scored to the left of an out of position Marco Holzheuer, making the score, 0-4. When César do Vale fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pimenteiras FC's protests and gave César do Vale a yellow card for diving instead. Dadá Carioca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ademar Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Brito having to interfere. Pimenteiras FC's Marco Holzheuer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erivaldo Luz in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Pimenteiras FC's goalkeeper Marco Holzheuer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dadá Carioca. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Erivaldo Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dadá Carioca made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 92ndth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Marco Holzheuer would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. If Dadá Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute Rafael Paraense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Holzheuer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Pimenteiras FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Morere's performance. The match ended with a win for Morere.
