Spectators: 7520 (Terracing: 5641, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marcelo Txanton got the match started through his kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrique Genova couldn't finish the play. 17 minutes into the game, Jairo Vidal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Internacional F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Porongos the free kick. Jairo Vidal hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Teodoro Nicholas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Geovânio Ortiz. Internacional F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 25th minute, Enrique Genova left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Porongos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Geovânio Ortiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Txanton in the 28th minute of play. In the 32nd minute of the match, Marcelo Txanton tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Geovânio Ortiz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Marcelo Txanton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Porongos's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Txanton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geovânio Ortiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jairo Vidal made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Edson Toledo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Internacional F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Porongos the free kick. After 51 played minutes Internacional F.C got a freekick which was hit by Edson Toledo. Enrique Genova sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Vidal in the 55th minute of play forced Porongos's goalkeeper Christiano Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Internacional F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rony Mota was slow to take the kick. During this time Porongos's players had a chance to rest. After some careless play in the Internacional F.C defense, Marcelo Txanton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geovânio Ortiz. The Internacional F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geovânio Ortiz should have stopped the shot. Christiano Castro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramón Alcântara went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Alfredo Calvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Geovânio Ortiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcelo Txanton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geovânio Ortiz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Internacional F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Genova came free, but Geovânio Ortiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramón Alcântara hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute Alfredo Calvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovânio Ortiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Marcelo Txanton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Porongos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Marcelo Txanton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rony Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Porongos's Marcelo Txanton got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Porongos fully deserved thier win.
