Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vágner Ferraz kicked off to start the match. Bruninho Custódio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from D.J. Sá in the 4th minute of play. Tobias Julberg kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. D.J. Sá recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. D.J. Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruninho Custódio having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Vágner Ferraz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Panait Balaeț was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After a rather tough play, Biruleibe FC's Oscar Maia got a free kick in the 25th minute. Panait Balaeț was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Mazinho Salles. In the 28th match minute, Santa City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélio de Andrade to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tales Catarinense was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Tales Catarinense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Biruleibe FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tales Catarinense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruninho Custódio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Santa City booed when Biruleibe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Goizeder Sopena didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 59 minutes of play, Biruleibe FC's Tales Catarinense made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruninho Custódio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Humberto da Mata made in the 62nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Biruleibe FC's D.J. Sá. Bruninho Custódio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tales Catarinense showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 67 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Santa City's Humberto da Mata got a free kick in the 71st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vágner Ferraz during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81st match minute, Biruleibe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Julberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute, Vágner Ferraz made a precise shot to the right of Panait Balaeț. Biruleibe FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. After 86 played minutes Biruleibe FC got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Julberg. A collision led to Biruleibe FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Amílton Zonta hit a great ball. 92 minutes into the match, Biruleibe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo das Neves came free, but Panait Balaeț reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, D.J. Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Santa City supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Biruleibe FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Biruleibe FC.
