Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tocantinea AD's Pedro Oliveira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Dorival Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Martelão FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dorival Fontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arlindo Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Oliveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Dorival Fontes struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Orlando Marques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Martelão FC. The Martelão FC fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Martelão FC's Dorival Fontes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Arlindo Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeca Botelho in the 18th minute of play. If Dorival Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute Zeca Botelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arlindo Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orlando Marques came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Martelão FC's Dorival Fontes. But to his dismay, Dorival Fontes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Orlando Marques successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 29th minute of the match, Dorival Fontes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Orlando Marques saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Martelão FC's Arlindo Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Oliveira in the 36th minute of play. Orlando Marques was a little too slow when Dorival Fontes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 6-0. Orlando Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorival Fontes in the 42nd minute of play. Ronaldo Pena hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Tocantinea AD defense, Dorival Fontes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Orlando Marques. The Tocantinea AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Orlando Marques should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dorival Fontes to make the kick off. Orlando Marques didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Martelão FC's Dorival Fontes shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 8-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 55th minute, Nelson Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wanderson Mazza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 9-0 became the score in the 60th minute when Dorival Fontes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Arlindo Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Oliveira in the 67th minute of play. Tocantinea AD's Orlando Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Ceresso in the 68th minute of play. Ezequiel Ceresso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorival Fontes in the 79th minute of play forced Tocantinea AD's goalkeeper Orlando Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 87 minutes, Dorival Fontes made it 11-0 with a short kick to the right side. Tocantinea AD's Orlando Marques tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorival Fontes in the 90th minute of play forced Tocantinea AD's goalkeeper Orlando Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Martelão FC had played much better football throughout.
