Manfredo Faria dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 15 minutes into the match, Nilton de Queirós had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manfredo Faria. Madury FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nilton de Queirós was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Manfredo Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilton de Queirós in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Acácio Santana in the 26th minute of play forced Madury FC's goalkeeper Manfredo Faria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Seterma Tractors's Enéas de Toledo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manfredo Faria made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enéas de Toledo in the 31st minute of play forced Madury FC's goalkeeper Manfredo Faria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Seterma Tractors's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
