Armando Dolfos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ruben Quintero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Amapa's Lucian Halipa in 29 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Ruben Quintero guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. 33 minutes into the match, Pedro Paulo Catarinense notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Amapa's Álvaro Pires. Lucian Halipa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the S.E. Palmeiras defense, Eugênio Favoretto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruben Quintero. The S.E. Palmeiras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruben Quintero should have stopped the shot. Armando Dolfos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruben Quintero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fellipe Meireles in the 91st minute of the match. After 93 minutes of play, Amapa's Armando Dolfos made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruben Quintero was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that Amapa were the better team. Amapa's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
