In the 5th minute, Guto Peres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute, Wilson de Salles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute, Progresso FC's Ian Correia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 18th minute Alexsandro Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Vinhas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ian Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Alexsandro Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Progresso FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexsandro Oliveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo Vinhas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ian Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Vinhas having to interfere. Danilo Vinhas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breno Pires in the 28th minute of play. After 36 minutes of play, Progresso FC's Ian Correia made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Danilo Vinhas was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Progresso FC's Breno Pires slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Danilo Vinhas. That made the score 5-0 after 40 minutes of play. Ian Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Danilo Vinhas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The wind increased when Alexsandro Oliveira made the kick off in the second half. Cláudio Rossi thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Danilo Vinhas, a very annoying self made goal in the 52nd minute which led to 6-0. After 55 minutes of play, Progresso FC's Filipe do Nascimento made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Danilo Vinhas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Filipe do Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Danilo Vinhas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 60 minutes of play, Progresso FC's Ian Correia made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Danilo Vinhas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexsandro Oliveira in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Danilo Vinhas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 64 played minutes Progresso FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão Toledo. Wilson de Salles was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 65th minute. Club Athletico Redemptor's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Danilo Vinhas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexsandro Oliveira went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Ian Correia scored 10-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Danilo Vinhas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 76 minutes into the game, Válter Netto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Athletico Redemptor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Progresso FC the free kick. The supporters of Progresso FC booed when Club Athletico Redemptor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Válter Netto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Progresso FC's Alexsandro Oliveira got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Danilo Vinhas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Ian Correia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Danilo Vinhas was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. After 85th play minutes Alexsandro Oliveira shot 12-0, a short shot which went by Danilo Vinhas and just under the crossbar into goal. Progresso FC made a substitution. Maicon de Moraes replaced Tobias Falkrantz. Ian Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Progresso FC had played much better football throughout.
