Manuel de Castro scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Filip Wlodyga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Manuel de Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Wlodyga having to interfere. Red Fox Sport's Filip Wlodyga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Hermes in the 23rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Red Fox Sport's zone, Manuel de Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filip Wlodyga came out of the goal and Manuel de Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Luiz Gustavo Recife came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Red Fox Sport fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Gustavo Recife couldn't finish the play. Thomas Sanford hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Luiz Gustavo Recife sped through Matas FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dagoberto Marinho. Luiz Gustavo Recife's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Dagoberto Marinho skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Luiz Gustavo Recife in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The wind increased when Luiz Gustavo Recife made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Red Fox Sport's Elias de Mendonça got a free kick in the 70th minute. With an all-out effort, Matas FC's Filip Wlodyga threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Charles Hermes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 73 played minutes Red Fox Sport got a freekick which was hit by Jorginho Santos. Silvinho Almeida took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dagoberto Marinho. Matas FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Matas FC made a substitution. Bruninho Falcão replaced Jonathan Cuenca. In the 81st match minute, Red Fox Sport was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Neto to maneuver through the defense. Filip Wlodyga came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Matas FC's Manuel de Castro. But to his dismay, Manuel de Castro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. After 88 minutes, Davi Neto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Red Fox Sport and the Matas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Red Fox Sport fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 87th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Filip Wlodyga, was totally fooled by Matas FC's Thomas Sanford, who 89 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a defensive mix-up in Red Fox Sport's zone, Bruninho Falcão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filip Wlodyga came out of the goal and Bruninho Falcão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Matas FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Red Fox Sport throughout the match.
