Vai Dá Ruim's André Luiz Gomes managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Natanael Gaúcho in the 70 minute of the game. Diogo de Mendonça might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ramón Arruda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diogo de Mendonça ran back to his position shaking his head. Valdemar Valladaress short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Ramón Arruda to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 81 minutes into the game, Jonathan de Moraes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vai Dá Ruim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aracas the free kick. Ramón Arruda came out of the goal and Valdemar Valladares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
