Osvaldo Leal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 16 minutes into the game, Gerson Carneiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Osvaldo Leal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Empate Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Alexandre Alagoano hit a great ball. Gerson Carneiro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Osvaldo Leal firmly grabbed it by the left post. 47 minutes into the match, Poetass FC's Benedito Braga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Osvaldo Leal narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benedito Braga made a kick off. Osvaldo Leal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kalle Billberg in the 89th minute of the match. Benedito Braga struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Osvaldo Leal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poetass FC. There was no doubt that Poetass FC were the better team. Poetass FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
