Oswaldo Paranaense stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Yuri Vinhas. 0-1. Agostinho Vianna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Alexsandro Tasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Nordestão Futebol Clube's zone, João Vítor Schmidt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yuri Vinhas came out of the goal and João Vítor Schmidt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yuri Vinhas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Vítor Schmidt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Vítor Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuri Vinhas having to interfere. Yuri Vinhas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorival Secco in the 35th minute of play. Yuri Vinhas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorival Secco in the 36th minute of the match. Tayio Esporte Clube's Dorival Secco got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yan Netto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Alexsandro Tasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Agostinho Vianna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Nordestão Futebol Clube's Yuri Vinhas got control of the ball when Dorival Secco tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 60th minute, Nuno Pontes made a precise shot to the right of Alexsandro Tasso. Tayio Esporte Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nordestão Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Yuri Vinhas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alexsandro Tasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Pontes in the 65th minute of the match. Yuri Vinhas came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Tayio Esporte Clube's Dorival Secco. But to his dismay, Dorival Secco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 73rd minute Yan Netto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexsandro Tasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Olívio Salles fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tayio Esporte Clube's protests and gave Olívio Salles a yellow card for diving instead. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Vítor Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Yuri Vinhas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nordestão Futebol Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nuno Pontes in the 88th minute. A nice corner shot did that Nuno Pontes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alexsandro Tasso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 90 minutes, Nuno Pontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nordestão Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nuno Pontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dorival Secco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Yan Netto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chants of Tayio Esporte Clube echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Nordestão Futebol Clube had held the ball for most of the match.
