Manders FC's 苏战烽 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Berger in the 14th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Manders FC's zone, Jano Linhares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 苏战烽 came out of the goal and Jano Linhares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 苏战烽 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Vítor de Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Manders FC's Carlos Urbano got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute, Washington Rodrigues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Washington Rodrigues during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some careless play in the Gorino defense, Washington Rodrigues kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruninho Moura. The Gorino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruninho Moura should have stopped the shot. Bruninho Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor de Medeiros in the 32nd minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Alex Santos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manders FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gorino the free kick. Léo Capixaba kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 85th minute, Vítor de Medeiros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Virgílio Soeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 苏战烽 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gorino players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Manders FC.
