Matías Arantes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Diguinho Paiva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. If Matías Arantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Juvenal de Alcântara hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 28thth minute of the game Matías Arantes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mariapopolis's Diguinho Paiva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When José Augusto Alcântara fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 8686 mangalot's protests and gave José Augusto Alcântara a yellow card for diving instead. After 29 played minutes 8686 mangalot got a freekick which was hit by José Augusto Alcântara. In the 30th minute, Dorian Garcia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Kutlu Talik had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diguinho Paiva. Mariapopolis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kutlu Talik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Matías Arantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diguinho Paiva having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Kutlu Talik received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Diguinho Paiva came out and tried to block the shot, but Kutlu Talik slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 52nd minute. 8686 mangalot's Matías Arantes got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 63 played minutes Mariapopolis got a freekick which was hit by Maurício Quadros. After a rather tough play, 8686 mangalot's João Augusto Dionísio got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Lukasz Adamowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorian Garcia in the 74th minute of the match. Flávio Sarmento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Lukasz Adamowicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flávio Sarmento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lukasz Adamowicz having to interfere. Flávio Sarmento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Lukasz Adamowicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lukasz Adamowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maicon Terra in the 81st minute of the match. After 83 minutes of play, Mariapopolis's Flávio Sarmento made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lukasz Adamowicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 8686 mangalot's Lukasz Adamowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorian Garcia in the 88th minute of play. After 91 played minutes Mariapopolis got a freekick which was hit by Maicon Terra. After a rather tough play, 8686 mangalot's Matías Arantes got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The supporters of 8686 mangalot booed when Mariapopolis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maicon Terra didn't get a good kick on the ball. The 8686 mangalot players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
