An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Donatello in the 8th minute of play forced ESTOPIM CAMPINAS's goalkeeper Jedrzej Domalik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jedrzej Domalik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Augusto Capixaba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ESTOPIM CAMPINAS's Jedrzej Domalik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Donatello in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of FrangoMal FC booed when ESTOPIM CAMPINAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Messias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Augusto Capixaba hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. José Pedro Correia struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Brasil Penta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ESTOPIM CAMPINAS. 23 minutes into the game, Belmiro Souza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FrangoMal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ESTOPIM CAMPINAS the free kick. The supporters of ESTOPIM CAMPINAS booed when FrangoMal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Belmiro Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jedrzej Domalik came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by FrangoMal FC's Cássio Donatello. But to his dismay, Cássio Donatello quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Cássio Donatello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jedrzej Domalik didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cássio Donatello went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 40 minutes of play FrangoMal FC's Belmiro Souza was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Pedro Correia was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, ESTOPIM CAMPINAS's Jedrzej Domalik got control of the ball when Carlos Augusto Capixaba tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 55th minute, Carlos Augusto Capixaba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anísio Castro made in the 62nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ESTOPIM CAMPINAS's Gustavo Messias. Carlos Augusto Capixaba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jedrzej Domalik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Augusto Capixaba in the 76th minute. Carlos Augusto Capixaba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Pedro Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in ESTOPIM CAMPINAS's zone, Fabinho Palmeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jedrzej Domalik came out of the goal and Fabinho Palmeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jedrzej Domalik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Augusto Capixaba in the 96th minute. The ESTOPIM CAMPINAS supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FrangoMal FC's performance. The match ended with a win for FrangoMal FC.
