Guerreiros Legendarios's Mazinho Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doni Linhares in the 7th minute of play. Beto Penha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Delfim Urbano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Lider S FC's goalkeeper Delfim Urbano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Beto Penha. Sílvio Rosado struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Mazinho Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lider S FC. After some careless play in the Guerreiros Legendarios defense, Doni Linhares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mazinho Carvalho. The Guerreiros Legendarios fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mazinho Carvalho should have stopped the shot. Moisés Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Doni Linhares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mazinho Carvalho was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. After 36 minutes of play, Lider S FC's Sílvio Rosado made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mazinho Carvalho was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Afonsinho Vidal fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guerreiros Legendarios's protests and gave Afonsinho Vidal a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Lider S FC booed when Guerreiros Legendarios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonsinho Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Beto Penha lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Delfim Urbano.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Beto Penha to make the kick off. 65 minutes into the game, Guerreiros Legendarios's Beto Penha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Delfim Urbano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. After 71 played minutes Lider S FC got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Rosado. Delfim Urbano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beto Penha in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Marcus Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfim Urbano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serafim Borges was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 79 minutes into the match. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Guerreiros Legendarios! The goalkeeper, Mazinho Carvalho, was totally fooled by Lider S FC's Edu Pontes, who 81 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The supporters of Guerreiros Legendarios booed when Lider S FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Rosado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beto Penha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Doni Linhares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mazinho Carvalho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. When Sílvio Rosado came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Lider S FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sílvio Rosado couldn't finish the play. The Lider S FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
