In the 13th minute, Julian Klæboe made a precise shot to the right of Serginho Miranda. CAIPIRAS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Leopoldo Lira kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Orlando Gaúcho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CAIPIRAS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sem Esperança the free kick. In the 18th match minute, CAIPIRAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Gaúcho to maneuver through the defense. Serginho Miranda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Klæboe went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Arí Peres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Artur da Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Julian Klæboe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Serginho Miranda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cipriano Bezerra kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Leopoldo Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serginho Miranda having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Sem Esperança's Máximo Branca was substituted for Julian Klæboe. Sem Esperança made a substitution. Marcos de Almeida replaced Leopoldo Lira. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arí Peres stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Máximo Branca got free with Serginho Miranda in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 64 minutes of play, Sem Esperança's Máximo Branca made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Serginho Miranda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Serginho Miranda was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Máximo Branca capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Máximo Branca really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Máximo Branca got free with Serginho Miranda in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Sem Esperança's Geovânio Paiva got a free kick in the 76th minute. Máximo Branca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moisés Massa during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Sem Esperança booed when CAIPIRAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moisés Massa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the match, CAIPIRAS's goal looked a bit too open when Máximo Branca came free, but Serginho Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 minutes of play, Sem Esperança's Máximo Branca made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Serginho Miranda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sem Esperança played a much better game than CAIPIRAS and deserved their victory. The CAIPIRAS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
