Spectators: 7509 (Terracing: 5632, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fiori Machado started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Rio de Janeiro F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Marco Bertassi came free, but Nicolas Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th match minute, Rio de Janeiro F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeu Maia to maneuver through the defense. Patativa's Edgar Negri pulled a muscle in his back after 8 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Yuri Paraibano fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rio de Janeiro F.C.'s protests and gave Yuri Paraibano a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Rio de Janeiro F.C.'s Yuri Paraibano got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11thth minute of the game Marco Bertassi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rio de Janeiro F.C.'s Nicolas Mota was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Patativa getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Diogo Godoi hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Marco Bertassi put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Nicolas Mota. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Bertassi in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolas Mota saved Rio de Janeiro F.C. from getting behind. When Patativa's Marco Bertassi in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rio de Janeiro F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Marco Bertassi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Mota having to interfere. Marco Bertassi took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicolas Mota. Nicolas Mota dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Nicolas Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermínio Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Bertassi in the 35th minute of play forced Rio de Janeiro F.C.'s goalkeeper Nicolas Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolas Mota came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Patativa's Diogo Godoi. But to his dismay, Diogo Godoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The audience was convinced that Marco Bertassi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicolas Mota was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Fiori Machado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicolas Mota stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marco Bertassi's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marco Bertassi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Marco Bertassi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicolas Mota was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Marco Bertassi in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nicolas Mota, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 56th minute, Marco Bertassi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolas Mota was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 61 minutes into the match, Zé Pedro Simões had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicolas Mota. Rio de Janeiro F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zé Pedro Simões was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diogo Godoi in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicolas Mota prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nicolas Mota made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Zé Pedro Simões sent off a good shot on target. Hermínio Batista might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicolas Mota. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hermínio Batista ran back to his position shaking his head. Nicolas Mota made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Bertassi in the 72nd minute. Diogo Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rio de Janeiro F.C.'s Nicolas Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Bertassi in the 74th minute of play. Nicolas Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Bertassi in the 76th minute of the match. When Patativa's Marco Bertassi in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rio de Janeiro F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. In the 80th minute Diogo Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Rio de Janeiro F.C.'s Nicolas Mota got control of the ball when Hermínio Batista tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marco Bertassis short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Nicolas Mota to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The nice shot from Marco Bertassi in the 88thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Nicolas Mota had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 93rd minute Hermínio Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Bertassi took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicolas Mota. Nicolas Mota dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6.
