Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rafael de Almeida scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcus Rodrigues, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th minute, Olívio de Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samuel Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Walmir Guedes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th match minute, Brewers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Didi das Neves to maneuver through the defense. Samuel Mattos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Rodrigues having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Germano Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Murillo Linares made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Real United's Rafael de Almeida slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcus Rodrigues. That made the score 0-3 after 54 minutes of play. Valdemar das Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After 60 played minutes, Brewers's Pedro Luís Pena shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcial Fonso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brewers reached it. Marcial Fonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvaldo de Barros in the 74th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Rafael de Almeida's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcus Rodrigues was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Marcus Rodrigues stood somewhat misplaced when Rafael de Almeida came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 80 minute. Samuel Mattos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 97thth minute tested the skills of Marcus Rodrigues when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match was over Real United could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Brewers throughout the match.
